DESCRIPTION:
Diver Consolidated Industries (DCI) is a leading manufacturer of metal pressings,
fabrications, hinges, assemblies and heat/acoustic management products mainly
supplying the automotive industry. We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic
Apprentice specializing in Fitting and Machining to support our production and
engineering team located at our Reservoir facility.
Responsibilities:
Working closely with the team you will provide prompt and efficient service to the
Manufacturing Engineer involving a diverse range of tasks including:
• Assist Toolmakers and Manufacturing Manager with daily requirements;
• Perform various clerical and administrative duties as required;
• Assist in the co-ordination of proto-type and special sample development; and
• Review and maintain manufacturing operation output and process data.
This is an opportunity for a ambitious and keen individual to commence with a great
company working approximately 38 hours per week from 7am to 3.30pm weekdays.
There may be overtime offered.
Flexibility to travel and work at our Thomastown plant will be required.
